The original Temple of Heaven in Beijing, China, was built in the 15th Century. This building, re-created here at Epcot, is just one of many structures that make up the Temple of Heaven. It's called the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest. It was a place where the Emperor would go to pray. We haven't been to the "real" Temple of Heaven in China, but we can say that this building here at Epcot is a shining example of what it must be like. Photo by Bonnie Fink.
